Yeah, I agree with you they are pretty even.........except the Busa is better looking!!!!
I like the RC, very different from the Busa but fun..........not very comfortable though
Pulls hard from 5k on up, but it won't win many drag races and even in cool weather you can feel the heat when your sitting in traffic. I'm 6"1 and I catch a lot more wind on it, but it's all stock so I may try a different wind screen. Much quicker side to side than the Busa..........but what isn't?:laughing6

I am 6'1" also. With a double bubble, it can't be much worse than the ZX-10R as far as wind protection. Acceleration wise, does it feel like a slug compared to the Busa?

I think it pulls harder, but only from 5k on up, from idle to 5k......it's a slug.
But it's about 30 less HP, and less torque as well. A lot of people change the gearing but I think I'll leave it alone at least for now.

Till the first corner came up that is!:icon_bigg

I definitely recommend going 1 down on the c/s sprocket on the RC, it's geared waaayyyy too tall.

I actually miss my old Blackbird sometimes.
Set up the way I had it, it was a fast, excellent handling, comfortable two up bike for SuzAnne and I. We made a bunch of trips to the Hill Country with it as well as Sunday Forest rides before Gabrielle was born.

For 1/4 mile racing I'm certain the new ZX14 wil be a serious contender, however to me at least, it's just so damned ugly!

ZX-14 aesthetics seems to come from the old lamborghini motorcycle (yes, they actually designed one) from the 80's combined with some old ninja designs. I think it's a huge step back...but that motor, wow. I understand the need for aerodynamics, but c'mon the fastest bike around should look better than that.

Still reserving final judgment until I see it on the sales floor. Bikes usually look different in person...a lot of the time they look better.

I seen it at the cycle world show a few months ago. It doesn't look any better in person either.
