Tax Credit on New Bikes...for Everyone

From the Aprilia USA website. If you file taxes and owe money then you probably qualify to take the credit. Has this been discussed here before? You'd get a tax break on 6.25% of the purchase price. So on a $10,000 bike, you'd not get taxed by the feds for the sales tax you'd pay, $625.00. Example: At 33% tax bracket that's $208.33 of credit after you calc your taxes. It's worth keeping in mind if you buy a new bike this year. Sure, all those who itemize would claim it anyway, but if you are not in a position to itemize you still get the credit, so it doesn't matter you work at Hi Lo.
