Riding a SPORTBIKE is a joke, unless on a track

Well, I think at least. . . .and I am talking about local city, freeway, and country riding. . .
I define track as a road course or drag strip. . .
But really, you go out and buy a 100+hp,150+hp sportbike and what can you do with it on a public road?
Well, a lot, but what is legal and fun at the same time? NOT MUCH. But maybe I just have high standards now.
I don't know about y'all but I bought my bike to ride it hard.
That doesn't necessarily mean I have to do that everytime I ride and I have no problem commuting to work and calmly riding somewhere to meet up with some friends and stuff but I gotta have my fun sometime. . .
Sure, I can poke around and ride it like a little , but if I wanted to do that, I woulda bought something else more fitting. . .
Conclusion: I think owning a 100+HP sportbike and riding it around the streets is a joke sometimes. . .

I tend to agree. I ride allot on the roads. To go fast for me, i would rather be on a track. Its like when i raced motocross. People would always fly thru the pits, acting like they were fast as . Man take it to the track if you want to show your fast, THE WE WILL TALK. Kinda the same thing man....

Gary it's the same reason people buy SRT10 Viper's. Or Ford GT's or any other fast car. Sure you can't use it's full potential legally here, but they still want the power/coolness.

Really I can't think of any major brand model cars you can buy that would you could reach top speed in and still be within the law.

And you know, it's not even about that.
I know your not directing that at me but I will say when I ride, I don't care if people think I'm fast or slow cause I know the skills I have and know when to use them I just ride to have fun BUT, on the street, it's a joke to have fun and be within the law. . .

Laws are guidelines to "keep the peace."

Don't disrupt, and you won't get penalized (most times).

I kinds feel the same way. I don't know why we have kept a street bike we haven't ridden it in almost a year. I just don't enjoy street riding anymore. But to each their own. People have different reasons for riding and who cares as they are riding.

I'm not trying to say you have to go to the track and all that.
By all means ride your bike how you want and have fun, that's what I do
I'm just pointing out that it sucks how the game works
