Not even a nod???

Motohouston member under weistheimer and beltway bridge? Suzuki jacket, Icon backprotector? I pulled up behind ya. Full gear... good going. I pulled up, gave you your space and you didn't even give me a nod. Where's the brotherly love?

And as a side note... that van should have put blinkers on...but I did slow fast enough to let him in front of me.

Do ya'll greet other riders when they pull up behind you, I'll wave a sport bike to pull up next to me, and chat a moment. I don't just ride in the middle. I give respect and space, but lets at least say whazzup!

I generally do not greet a rider who pulls up behind me. Next to me, yes, I'll acknowledge them. Behind me, almost never.

that's not cool. Maybe on the weekend when 100's of riders are out I could see it. But during the week, ignoring another rider when the pull up right behind you. that's worse than not waving when you should. :-(

same. how am i supposed to acknowledge them if they are behind? if you were my real 'rider brother' you'd pull up next to me so we could talk about curb monkeys....as we wheelie into the sunset.

i dont pull up next to other bikers, just based on i dont know their intentions and or riding habits. some MC riders may not like it when strangers roll up on them.

on a note though, if i saw a MH sticker on a bike, i prolly would ride up next to them.

I agree, I don't ride up on riders either. You never know if you just rolled-up on a squid, scare them and they take you out, or if they don't like you ridding up on them they may try to take your out. I rather give them the space and live to ride another day....

right, that's what I do... but if someone pulls up and I make eye/helmet view contact I'll give them a nod or a slight wave to acknowledge. If its a slow day and I ain't moving I'll move into a tire track and let them pull up closer with a wave to say hello.

i don't like waving across freeways to other riders... waving is "ok"... but to pull up behind someone and they don't wave... well I think that should be more the priority than a typical freeway wave.

I hate when people I don't know try talking to me. If you see my MH sticker on my truck and say "Hey, I'm on MH too!" that's one thing, but just because I have a bike? If every guy that had a truck tried talking to me when I was filling up at the gas station I would go crazy. Sweet you're on a bike, I'll wave but no need to chat, we're not friends...I don't know you.

Perfect way to the wrong person off and get your bike knocked over, kicked, ect.

I have had people I know and ride with often do it to me. But if I don't know you and you roll up next to me at the light and pull that . I will catch you and kick you and your bike over at the next light.
