I love my sp2's. they fit great, stay where they're supposed to, and they're half the price as those mentioned above. but then again some peeps that said they aint s#!t are also novice for life riders ha!!!!!

the thing is the wrist strap. your sp2's will come off before the gp +. he asked about a track glove. therefore the wrist strap could prove a big+. the woven pinky is a plus as well. also i buy my gloves 1 size small so they will stretch and fit well. they do stretch then feel too big.

My A* SP1's have a seperate wrist strap, full gauntlet, etc. Im not sure how they could implement more protection on a glove without going to a completely solid design lol. The SP'1s are a bit much for short daily commuting due to their stiffness etc. But i think I will appreciate it once i go down lol.

The only ones that sucked were some 39.99 ones I bought from TTB. Within a few track days the liner inside was ripped to shreds. But at 40 bux, eh, I aint mad.

by wrist strap imean an actual strap that fits at the wrist and velcros closed. then the gauntlet has velcro as well to close the gauntlet. i dont thi nk the sp1's have the strap at the wrist seperate from the gauntlet. just as the sp2's do not. the gpplus has both.

For the same (or slightly more) cash, you could get some Helds. I didn't know what was up until I put a friend's on... holy crapola... I'm buying some on the quick (as soon as I can afford).

Im not convinced that I will buy another set of SP1's either. The reason that I got a set in the first place was because they were about 60% off. They do have a wrist strap seperate from the usual wrist clasp, so two straps total.

I think what someone really needs to do when buying gloves is find a set that you like and then search the net for crash reviews. I have seen gloves that look bulletproof completely dissolve in normal crashes resulting in gruesome hand injuries. I got the sp1s after reading review after review of people having getoffs at 100+ and suffering little to no hand injuries.

Just my 2 cents

I just got a pair of A* GP Plus. They feel great. Cannot comment on the track with these though for obvious reasons. If you want to try them LMK and if you're at MSRH dat I'll bring them.
