Silva could have knocked out Thales but just played with him instead.... Wanted to see more action from Anderson but he got the W.

Looked forward to that fight for awhile now and it was a waste. Silva was a much better fighter than that guy and should have ended it in the 1st round instead of that stupid dance $hit they did for 5 rounds.

I agree. Silva had so much to offer but instead he played the fight kinda cocky-like. I'm not taking anything away from him but I expected more from him. Those kicks to the knee cap were crazy, opposite foot leg kick, elbow to the shin??? He busted at least 3 moves I had never seen before in that fight.

The problem is that they are both counter strikers/ fighters. Thales is good on the ground and every chance he got, he would fall on his back. Silva would let him up everytime. Thales should have thrown some punches, then Silva would have killed him.

Boring fight though. It was funny to see Chuck get Knocked out, poor guy, he should retire now

The Silva fight must have been the longest he ever had. lol

He had to earn that one.

he knows he is older and slower then most, but im sure he still brings a load of fans and $ to the ufc which in turn makes his check pretty nice i bet win or lose. i dont know what his check looks like but im sure i would be more then gladly to get knocked out for it

and as far as retiring im sure he hill come back for a fight in a year or two and bring big numbers to the ufc again

Every fighter can only take a certain number of punches. The irony is that no ones knows just what that number is. Chuck needs to be very careful.....
