I've already signed up for a trackday this sat. and sun. at MSRH, and the weather is still looking crappy for at least sat. Just wondering how that track is when it's wet? I've only been on a track twice in the rain. Once was at barber back in '02 on my SV with metzeler sportech M-1s and the other was at grandsport in my truck this last feb when they let everyone take their vehicles out on the track to help dry it out. Both of those tracks had AMAZING grip when wet....almost got a knee down at barber in turn 2/3 and my truck had better grip at a wet GSS then it does on the street when it's dry.

Also, I'm running Pirelli supercora pro's right now and have a spare set of pilot power 2cts sitting in the garage for another bike. Would it be worthwhile to switch the supercorsas with the 2cts if it's raining all day? I've heard the pilot powers are awesome in the rain, just not sure if it'd be worthwhile to switch out tires for a day.

msrh is like a plate of glass when its dry and cold cant imagine what it'd be like wet............oh well ill be out there with you guys.

I agree. My first track day ever was at MSRH and it poured the first few sessions. As a matter of fact Buck showed me how to get my confidence up going over the Launch. Grippy ftw.

I got a couple of sets of low mileage rains in the garage if you guys really do end up needing them. T17 is really the only place you may find water if you get a good rain. The track has an asphalt mix thay allows water through and seeps off the track at the edges. When they sealed 16/17 it screwed that sweet drainage a bit so now it may stand very near the apex of 17. Other than that I warn folks about the Keyhole that sometimes will seep water from the inside of the concrete patch about 2/3 of the way through.
