is it worth it

is it even worth getting a new exhaust system on a ninja 250 and other mods or should i just save up my money for my next bike so i can get a bigger bike when i feel ready for one?

and like someone told me once "You can take a ninja 250, put 5 grand into upgrades and when your done guess what you have? A ninja 250"

Not that anything is wrong with them, I think they are excellent bikes and everyone should start on them, but if your wanting to go fast, your best bet is to buy a fast bike.

I don't doubt it, if some redneck can say "I wonder what would happen if you put a X on a Y"

He's surely got a buddy thats either rich or has the spare parts and a welder laying around someplace =)

i would do it b\c by the time u spend the money. you will want another bike and the 250 hold there value pretty well. so sell it and use the money to put a down payment on a 600 lol.

I wouldn't recommend doing it. It will cause the bike to lose any of the low / mid range power it has. You'd be better off saving for a 600 after you've spent some time learning the 250.

im not sayin imma get on a bigger bike now im saying instead of getting mods on this imma save my money and wait till i feel im ready for a bigger bike to get one, i have only put 2000 miles on this 250 and i have heard that between 1500 and 3000 miles is the time when most accidents happen for new riders cause they get cocky with their abilities so im sayin i atleast want to put 6000 miles on this bike before i upgrade.

the 05-06 636 is a awesome bike. its really forgiving especially with the slipper clucth and not as agressive rider position.

try pasadena kawasaki
