Did they ever make it were if you buy a new motorcycle you can write off the taxes paid just wondering.

write off taxes as a deduction or an actual credit :-) That WOULD be sweet

i did it for my moto purchase in 08 and I believe it went down as a deduction.

i've done it twice. sales tax was added as part of my itemized deductions. both bikes were used. don't think you can claim it if you only do standard deduction.
