You need it for car or bike?? Its not to big of a deal all in all, depending on how fast of a license you need to acquire. My license lets me drive anything to 7.50 second 1/4 mile e.t.'s and/or up to 200mph traps.

You will need to download the license form. Get a physical done. Go to the track with 2 licensed drivers to witness your passes. You will make 6 hits, a 60', then a 330', then iff memory serves right you will make 2 1/8 mile passes, and then lastly 2 full passes. Depending on if and how fast your last 2 passes are will determine what license you have qualified for. Have the 2 licensed drivers sign off on your passes.

If you simply run just under 10.00's, say 9.90's, that will get you a Super Gas (S/G) license good to 8.50's. If you run under 9's on your passes you will get a Super Comp license good to my aformentioned numbers, 7.50's. And if below 7.50's, then thats an Advanced E.T. license and will allow you to run to 6.00 second e.t.'s

Hope that helped. More questions feel free to ask or pm me.

Robert I told you all of that friday night. The license for motorcycles is ET MX. Your last two passes have to be 9.99 or quicker to earn the 9.99 license. Go to NHRA's website, all the info is there. I can sign off on your passes, we will find someone else at the track to sign off on them. They really don't have to watch them, just make the runs, fill out the form as you make you passes and get licensed racers to sign it. You have to notify the tower before each of your "license runs". Its no big deal but its tough at HRP because you rarely get 6 passes in a night.

Yes the 2 full passes must be in the single digits for you to complete the license requirements. It may be different abit from track to track, and maybe more so if on a bike, but the easiest way to make your passes and get them all in w/o notifying the tower before each pass is put LIC or License on your windscreen. This lets the track offcials know you are trying to get your license, they should in turn call up to the tower for you, and most importantly they will kinda give you "right-of-way" over the other folks in the staging lanes b/c they know you gotta get 6 in.

Wheew

Its easy, you will enjoy it.

I don run as much as I use to, there was a time like Mathews thats all I did, I use to run street et, pro et, super gas, and super comp, lots of fun once Ur in the 8,s, at first I thought 9,s were fast now they just bore me, and then 8,s were awesome, now I,m kinda bored with them too, I wanna run 7,s on a bike, but my wallet doesent support that decision, someday soon I hope
