lead ban

when the f*ck is this stupid ban gonna be over????? i went to the dealer to look at a klx 110 today and all they had are the ttr 110s. and they are one of the few with an electric start. isnt the battery one of the reasons for the ban? how are they the only minis on the market?

i was told it might be as little as a year...and the ban will most likely stay in effect, they will just have to change up some parts

the klx110 is on the showroom floors now. just most places are sold completely out because so many people were anxious to buy right after the ban. but the 110s are back out.

as much as I dislike hobama, he had nothing tho do with the ban, it was in the works before he took dictatorship.

The ban covers all things marketed for use by a child under 12 that contain 400ppm of lead among other things. They cant ban one thing and not cover another in all fairness.

I hear roomer that even if honda decides to change the design, the testing that will have to be undergone will take 400 days. So prepare to buy china 50s/70s, or wait over a year for honda.

I told everyone of this when/before I bought every single 50/70 from local dealerships, then offered them for sale for less than msrp(sold out already), so to all you cheap-aszs that didn't believe me, have fun standing on the side line or borrowing your buddies bike.
