Engine noise

my f4i's making a weird light rattling noise when i downshift.. cam chain tensionor or something maybe? if anyone is familiar with it please help out and if i keep riding it like this will i cause any major damage?

Is it when you roll off the throttle? Does it make the noise on decel even when you're in neutral and not rolling?
Probably the cam chain tensioner, F4i CCT's failures are pretty common.

ya like in 6th gear ill get off the gas and ill hear it. whats this gonna lead to? and how much to fix it up?

If it's the CCT less than $150.00, parts and labor. If it's only in 6th though I'd look at some other things. If you want, bring it by and I'll take it for a test ride.
