Scoot, 15000 isn't . Mine has double the miles and I have never had a problem at all I didn't cause myself.

They both put down barely over a 100hp, & the kawi weighs 15 pounds more! Maybe the rider Like i said both bikes are nice, I prefer the gsxr you prefer the zx-6, Thats personal preference... lol i would ride a ruckus if i had to...A bikes a bike but there is not much difference in any of the 600's there all fast enough

On a dynojet an 05-06 typically puts down 107-111 if it's healthy. The GSXR is only a couple down, but down low it puts out quite a bit more. The CBR at 9K RPMs actually puts down about 14 less rwhp. You're right though, ANY modern SS puts down more power than anyone needs.

so im a little timid about how the 636 is gonna handle with extra bottem end
because on the 08 zx6r the front end lifted up with ease because of my weight lmao
riding a 1000 would be a death sentence

Yuuuup. I ride another mods 08 10R sometimes, and with my 160lb on it, it does nothing but lift the front end, and I hate wheelies. I want it though. I need it.

Do you happen to know if that 08 6R was geared at all? First gear on those bikes is extremely long. If it was in fact stock gearing, then a 636 has noticeable amounts more bottom-end.

yea it was totally stock

so does that mean if i get on a 636 all its gonna do is wheelie?

Depends how you were treating the throttle really. If you were hamfisting it, the 636 will come up a bit easier. If you're happy with the speed of he 07-08(which you should be, it's a fastass bike) and it's comfortable, then pick one up you find a deal on. It turns in a bit easier than the 05-06 636.
