bike not starting

my bike wont start. it started fine the last couple weeks and then today it turned off (my fault, i was trying to ease uphill) and then it wouldnt start again. the lights went dim and the made a funny sound. this happened before and i took the battery out for a couple of hours and put another battery in but it didnt fit so i put my old battery in and it worked perfectly and has been working for the last couple of weeks till it did it again today.

how is the electrolyte in your battery? if it is low, add distilled water.

The YTZ10S batteries in the F4i's and some other Hondas are notorious for having an intercell connector come loose and eventually shorting out, causing the symptoms you're describing. If you want to bring the battery by I can load test it for you, no charge.

i would just check ur cables at first b\c all it takes is them to be a lil lose. it can makes them just do all kinds of wierd stuff. u allwayz want to check the simple stuff first b\c sometimes the biggest problems can be caused by the littlest of things. the honda are notorius for having that problem. so it can be what he said too.
