Turn 7. Sorry, I left that out of this thread. It's in another thread of mine.

oh yea, here's the pavement scratches pic i took at MSRH a couple weeks ago. His front end washed out right at the start of the yellow/black apron and he slid 1/3 of the way through the carousel. had to be going over 100mph for sure. the bike flipped 3 times in the air when it hit the grass.

see dave wonders in the truck on the left? that's where the bike finally came to rest.

OMG! I was just telling dude about if I missed a gear or got a false nuetral coming into turn 7 I would be dead. That's my favorite turn at TWS (Texas World Speedway), but also my most feared now.

Are you ok????

Actually, there's a good lesson here regarding crashing and getting over it mentally, the same advice I was giving Captain M in a thread last week. I made the mistake and turned in too early. I knew it when it happened, so because because of this, I didn't have any thinking to do about the crash after the crash. I made a mistake, I won't do it again.

Other than a few bruises here and there, I'm fine. Fixed the bike, raced the next day, got back on the podium.

Linz remeber the crash I had at TWS (Texas World Speedway) at the last endurance in '08. It was pretty quick and I heard the bike slid for a good ways.

I did the same thing twice in the endurance and found myself gritting my teeth praying my footpeg wouldn't hit the curbing!!

I've got a tie I think.

One that was kind fun till I hit the ground was old T9 at TWS (Texas World Speedway), the dogleg b4 the chicane. 98 GSXR750 passing Micah Stevenson on the inside and I flicked it in w/o rolling off at all and the front just kept going. I slid off backards on my back. Back then they didn't mow the grass for CMRA, and since that turn is banked and then goes downhill, I flew for several seconds till I could hear the tops of the weeds hitting my helmet. Thats when I took a breath and braced for impact. But the noise just got louder. Just when I decided for another breath, the friggin world exploded. All I had was a few broken ribs and the wind knocked outta me for so long Robert Brothers had already got to the scene. Fun Stuff.

The other was coming outta 7 at TWS (Texas World Speedway) long track on the GSXR1000 WFO and when trail breaking for 8 I hit a bump that tucked the front. That was an immediate explosion. I didn't even know what happened or where the bike was. The battery and ECU were thrown from the bike, my leathers tore open and my shoulder was ground down real nice. Awesome. Oh yea, we only had a few minutes left in an 8hr race. fan****intastic.

highsided my brains out going about 120mph at MSRH with andy and dr. gonzo getting front row seats to the carnage (riding behind me). i was faster and crazier before that highside.....even now, im still slowly working back up to the pace. ended up with some broken ribs, fractured collar bone, bruised ego, and a 1000RR that ended up being ten newly designed 100RR's.

i superman'd that hoe!!!!!

I had one last weekend...like 10 mph leaving the pits....oh, you meant fast as in speed? I was speaking relatively...one minute all is well, the next I was having a fast crash. lol for real though, maybe 60-65 mph highside through sugar n spice at MSRH. Everyone here has already seen the pics.
