From 2 feet off the ground onto the carpet?
What name brand helmet is this... Mattel? LOL...
Good thing it didn't have to save you from slamming hot asphalt at 60mph!

Honestly, almost everyone I know has dropped their helmet at one point or another, on asphalt or concrete.
Guess it's a good thing you found it sooner than later.

I ordered an Icon once. Had awesome graffics but the craftsmanship wasn't what I was expecting. I sent it back.
Ask around on the forum for some advice, I think Icon has kind of a "low end" rep around here.
Just some friendly advice...

sounds like your good just so long as you don't fall on the side w/the crack in the foam

rojer has the right idea, but I would say throw it @ their car and say they are overreacting....since you are gonna buy a new lid anyways

it took quite a bit of restraint on my behalf not to do that. it sux that the foam cracked from such a short fall but at the same time it wasnt like it just fell. it was as if it was pushed to the ground. the carpet at work isnt thick by any means so it was like it hit concrete. i took it out to the dealership and they agree that it could have happened from falling that short of a distance. im almost tempted to buy a cheap HJC just to ride around with in the mean time.

Just tell the little boy at work that your life is worth his respect. Then smash the frackin thing over his head. Or... be cool, and wait for him to come around and realize that he's a douche. Um... the second one doesn't get you fired.

That helmet has to be a Lemon if it cracked from a 2ft drop on carpet.

the carpet is those 2X2 squares with no padding beneath so it could be possible. especially since he slapped it OUT of my hand. who knows what the force was when it hit. it may be the equivalent of it falling 5 feet, i dont know
