My FIRST cmra TWS (Texas World Speedway) Thanks!

So today was my first race and I just wanted to thank a few people that were instrumental in my growth as a rider. I would say racer, but I have no ambitions to be a full time dedicated racer. I will partake in several more races but at 600.00 per day, between entry fees and tires, it aint happening!

So I ran 3 classes today. I waited to the last minute and choose the races after lunch, in hopes that the track would dry and it did.

My very first race, I ran 57's and placed 6th in F1 Novice.
2nd race, ran 55's and placed 3rd in A Superbike Novice.
3rd race, ran 54's and placed 5th in B Superbike Novice.

I want to thank Dave Wonders and Ridesmart Motorcycle school for giving me the opportunity to help him, help me..by allowing me to help out with his school and get shitloads of track time. And I get to pass on what little I know to others.

Thanks Hooligan for comming out and helping out. You are one stand up cat and I am proud to call you my friend.

Thanks April for being so cool and riding all the way to ECR Friday night and then all the way to TWS (Texas World Speedway) Sat night and not complaining about teh shitty hotel!

Thanks MaxGs for being helpful in all aspects of my riding and passing on any valuable information that you have ever come across. And thanks for the member days at MSRH.

Jimmy "the bossman" zx6...if it had not been for you, I may have been killed on a backroad somewhere. That was certainly the path I was headed. You were persistent in me getting to the track. You are a great teacher.

Thanks Motorcycles Unlimited for the killer suspension.
Thanks SCRC for the sticky icky BT003's.
Thanks MH for providing a community that I can look to as a great resource.
And thanks all you other homies of mine. Yall know who you are!

Cheers!

Congrats man, glad the track was dry for you cause I sure as wouldn't wanna do my first race in the wet either. Too bad you raced so late cause we headed out on your first race. I wanted to watch but its all good

I look forward to completing the required racing and CW'ing so I can get my license and *hopefully* start an endurance team with a few good friends. . .

Yea...I am more proud of myself for that than anything else. I have always watched my progression, via lap times, since I got into level 2. I remember my last track day, I thought how in teh can I get any faster. I figured it out though.....chase faster people.

And nice meeting you too.
