TWS (Texas World Speedway) Thanks

Well, what looked like horrid weather ended up with a beautiful afternoon on Sunday after the nasty downpour. It was quite an eye opening weekend for me, I must say. Saturday was my first expert practice and it's the first time in over a year I can remember being on a race track and not passing a soul. I got passed by Ty and maybe 4 other fast guys and that was it. But knowing that everyone else behind me wasn't running too far off my pace was kinda like, "Wow, this doesn't happen normally." Didn't ride at all Sunday until the races and my first race I went from the 6th row to 3rd place by T1... got passed by John Orchard on the brakes and about 2 laps into it I started to get alot of chatter on the brakes and spinning up the rear on brand new tires, pulled and was 2 psi high... did a 1:51.8 in the first race I had and went back out on the still spinning rear, even at the correct psi and ran consistently in the low-mid 51's. Not too bad of a first expert weekend, but that's definately eye-opening. I am VERY confident I would have been in the 49's with a good set of working tires, as I did those times in practice on NTEC take-offs. Thanks a ton to John Leger and Allan Campbell for their help in the pits in the afternoon, and to Fabian, Alonzo, Tony, and Irish for their support throughout the weekend. Also to Lindsey, my brother and mom for coming out to show their support. See you guys out next time on 211 NTEC's at Hallett!

Welcome to experts Dustin. Glad to see you make it out in one piece unlike what I did at Daytona. It was good seeing everyone else also. MH boys were flying.

Keep up the good work. It takes skills to run with the best. As in anything in life, you have to start somewhere. You're time will come, grasshopper.
