i have hit vulture that was taking off just past a blind apex. it was like getting hit with a pillow really hard in the shoulder.
recently i had a golfball sized rock hit the fingers of my right hand. i saw it fall out of a truck and then it bounced up high, came down and hit my hand- ouch!

i have hit many large bugs ranging from sooft and gooey to *WTF WAS I JUST SHOT?!*

oh, and there was a very close call with a blindly driven minivan's right mirror to my left hand
