My bike on the Dyno

here is a short avi of it WOT in 4th gear.
As explained in a previous thread, I need electronic mods to benefit from the turbo, as in ignition stuff. Anyways, here it is with Jeremy at Competition Motorcycle.

sure mang, rode it all the way to GOE cycles in Angleton today. I already have the stuff in motion to land me some new programmable ignition and boost triggered goodies. Then back to the dyno, this time, armed with laptop

yeah, that day = sucky dyno day, but I learned a lot about the computer and its battle armour. I am also working on making my own ignition / advance trigger box.
You can cheat on the map sensors: A maps sensor's output covers the
whole range that the map sensor is capable of.

A 1 bar map sensor is vacuum only (this is what I have in my bike now from the factory), and output is 0 volts at one extreme, 5 volts at the other (forget which extreme is which, but lets say it's 5 volts with 30 inches of vacuum and 0 volts at WOT)

A 2 bar map sensor is vacuum/boost, 30 inches vacuum to 15 psi boost. And
it reads 0-5volts too
A 3 bar map sensor is also vacuum/boost, 30 inches vaccum to 30 psi boost with same 0-5 volts output.

Now the trick for making custom curves. Using a 2 bar map sensor, 0
inches of vacuum & 0 psi boost (what would be WOT without boost and 5 volts)
would be 2.5 volts on the 2 bar map sensor, 5 volts at 30 inches vacuum, 0 volts at 15psi......... (3bar is same idea)

You make your ignition curve using the 2 bar map sensor. The ECU doesn't
know about the the 2 bar sensor, and it also doesn't know about the boost.
But it doesn't matter as long as your ignition curve is correct for how much boost you're running. Thats the hurdle is making this theroy work in conjunction with a ignition system that will get the timing where you want it, when you want it responding off the data it receives from the map sensor set up.

you know, I laugh and joke about that issue.
I am coming to the HP mark where, well, its like this. If I think my bike hauls now, just wait till I get the ignition set-up working in my favor it seriously will be a hold on chore when your arms up like that. Should easily pull a roll on wheelie in second
