05 CBR side exaust?

anyone tried this JW, custom fab a side mount exhaust much like the R6 on a 05 CBR RR? if so how?

Just curious, why would you want to do that? Is there any benefit from having a side mount exhaust or do you just like the way it looks?

Does the rear seat ever get hot from the exhaust being under the tail? (just curious)

changin the look, no the seat dosnt really get that hot w/ the exhaust comin out back

yeah but think about it all the companies making undertail are now changing back, i think it had something to due with balance. undertail exhaust have slightly more weight on their left side, on the track they are sometimes harder to use, but for everyday purposes they're all good.

i think they look ugly on that model though so i wouldnt do that, but to each his own i guess.

Here's mine. I haven't finished with the bike yet but the exhaust is done and I modified the subframe and made an undertail for the tail.

niiice thats exactly what i was looking for somethin like that. that a custom muffler or bought an adapted to the exhaust??

its an 05 gsxr1k hotbodies megaphone exhaust. And I used 600rr Micron serpant headers. Cut, fit em up, and welded them to fit.
