You can always buy a cheap used coat on Ebay or Craigs List and perforate it yourself, like I did. See this link.

I've got a dainese delmar jacket that is fully perforated. It's a outstanding summer jacket for it lets a lot of air go through when you are moving and even when you are not, you won't get too hot thanks to the 3d bubble interior that theoretically should conserve your body temperature.

I've got a Vanson MK2 Sportrider jacket that's perforated - trunk and sleeves. As long as you're not sitting at a light it flows air really well and doesn't get hot.

It actually flows so much air that on cool days you can get pretty cold.

My only gripe is that the jacket was bought for me and while it fits in the arms and shoulders it seems to have been made for a fat person across the belly.

One day I'll have it tailored, but other than that it's great.

I have 2 fully perf'd Vansons. While I love the protection, let's be real.

In the summer in Houston, you could ride nekkid, and still be hot/sweat.

When people don't wanna gear up in hot weather, I tell them, "I can cool off faster than you can heal up"!

I just posted a 2009 brand new Teknic Chihcane preforated leather jacket on the for sale section. Nice looking jacket just doesn't fit me. Take a look and let me know if you're interested.

I have one of those. Best bang for the buck. But it is a bit expensive.
