I think this is wise. This is still America and not Iran(at least for a little while longer) People are innocent until proven guilty. Remember we are loyal to each other first as trackriders and should give our fellow brothers and sisters right of passage until they are proven guilty. I mean what if it was us that the sticker blew off and everybody said get'em and we were totally innocent. The pics should be sent to the powers at be first to see if they recognize them. If they don't then maybe post here but I don't think anyone should throw stones before we know they are guilty.

You're doing the right thing. Let Ridesmart dudes look at them first.

Jason, now that you mention it.. i thought i noticed a couple on 3/7 too.. i just figured that the sticker had blown off since thats happened to me before.

+1 on the sticker checker. I think its a good idea for them to check on both entrance and exit. that way if it is a simple situation of the sticker coming off it can be resolved before their next session.

[threadjack]
for levels 1 and 2 (especially bad in 2) I'd also like to see some sort of class check in... if they aren't in class.. they can't ride the session following. they're supposed to be there to learn.. how can they do that if they don't show up for the classroom feedback from their instructors[/threadjack]

sorry for the thread jack back to the flaming of the spineless twit thieves

These guys were obviously being sneaky. Since when have you known GB to NOT attract attention to himself?

i.e. Wheelie-ing down the straight on every lap at MSRH?

actually, we were warned on sunday that people on saturday had reported having like cellphones stolen from the paddocks. So, yea....that was happening too.

I don't want people like this in the paddocks with me and all my stuff.
At TWS (Texas World Speedway) on Sunday they mentioned that a few personal items were stolen from people the day before at the Ride Smart event and strongly encouraged us to get to know our paddock neighbor as a way to help deter theft. If you know the people pitted next to you that may be riding in a different class, they will more than likely ask a question if they see someone that isn't you walking over going through your stuff while you're out riding. Good practices if you ask me!

Me too, I've had stickers fly off, but as soon as I pit out, I will go find the grid marshall and ask for another sticker!

Maybe this is an isolated incident but when I was lining up at the grid on Sunday, I even saw a guy roll up next to me and Pam came over and was like "hey, you can't go out on the track in blue jeans, you gotta go talk to the people at registration about that..." and she turned him away.

Do people even read the rules???

...agree, except that specific people recognized specific bikes and knew their names, and our forms did not show any records of any registration from them. Same from records with online sales for the event.

Wow! This sucks.

I've never checked for my sticker staying on, but I will now.

Sorry, Ride Smart. That is low.
