too many pics for me to look through at work to see which bikes it was... we should definitely round em up and show em what for.. .. just as my broken hand started to feel all healed up too... oh well.

And I'm 100% with banning them from riding the track with any org

Not a bad idea, because if a rider really paid and their sticker came off, AND they were entering the track at the proper place, the track marshall would have caught it and asked them to get another sticker from Dave's wife. We actually had a "sticker checker" person at pit out assisting the marshall. I didn't think we would need one at pit in.

if someone is gonna steal $135 from the people putting the event on who is to say they won't steal some tools, or maybe your phone sitting in your chair while your out on the track.

There is no speed limit in hot-pit. The marshall probably saw someone screaming down pit lane and assumed they were already on track and just doing a run through pit lane. Make sense? Also, it helps to know at TWS (Texas World Speedway), the pit in opening is about a 1/8 mile prior to pit out. So, unless someone is looking for this, it only takes a split-second for someone to sneak out the gate and then it looks like they were already on track...

Can only imagine what they would have "tried" to do had they caused any issue out on the track, let alone hurt someone. Selfish bastards!

Unfortunately we might see someone checking registration/tech stickers coming off the track now too.

Did they ride all day? Curious about the circumstances and how they got away with it all day, even after the day was over.

At least at my times at TWS (Texas World Speedway) no one is really manning the track exit. It is back in the corner fairly out of sight from most areas of the paddock.

I, personally, am unclear as to how many sessions it occured. 1 is too many. As far as I know it happened at least more than once because the spectators saw it happen and probably thought nothing of it, then after it happened again, they were intrigued enough to ask questions.

Funny you mention that.

You are correct. It was happening at MSRH on 3/7 as well, but we didn't identify the rider(s).

Then we enacted a different check at pit-out at MSRH on 3/29. The "sticker checker" people we had working that event told Dave they had 3-4 people walk up to them and say "what exactly are you checking for?" If they had paid and been at the riders meeting, they would have known exactly what we were checking for...
