South Central Race Center

Am I going crazy? I can't find a sponsor sub-forum for SCRC.

Looking for a list of his prices on tires.

Didn't see the prices on the site. Looks like his site uses javascript though. Just disabled noscript and found the mfg logos are clickable.

Thanks!

Time to get me some new rubbers, these M3's ain't cutting it no more. Time to try a tire actually meant for the track now.

Get some 003s, bro. You'll be plenty happy.

Price shouldn't matter, since the tires are what's connecting the bike to the pavement. Cheaping out on tires could "cost" you somewhere else.

Eh. As often as I don't take it on the street I still do sometimes. Was thinking of going with 002's. I dunno. I also don't have warmers. Would I be risking killing a 003 too quickly with all the heat cycles?

Looks like John has 002's for $240 for a set. How much does he charge for install? Sunny has a set and can install for $270 total.

Free mount and balance loose wheel. Or free ship in lieu of mount and balance.

No offense to Sunny, but is he going to be able to provide you trackside support for the price too? How about recommending pressures and suspension settings? Does Sunny know what compounds work best at each of our tracks?

Just sayin', the money you spend with John goes a lot farther than just selling you tires.

I'd imagine you'd get a lot more on the 650 vs. my ZX-10R
But for you, you don't need to 002's man. Get with Dave C and see what he's running cause that fool rides his off street or track and I don't think he has any issues with what he runs. Something about fred flinstone tires Just ask him.
