Question best 1 piece leathers for $800-$1000

i am about to do my first track day in a month or so, i currently have two piece Frank Thomas leathers, but the more i think about it, the less i like the idea of the zipper holding them together, so i will probably wear them for my first couple of track days, but want to get a decent one piece by summer

budget allows spending in the range of 800-1000, looking for feedback on what are the best leathers i can get in this price range

custom suit at pilotleathers.com for $1000. Did I mention CUSTOM? Go custom if you are irregular built. Other than that, there are plenty of good suit for that price. What fits you is the question.

Heck, for 499 you can get 1 piece Frank Thomas; boots & Gloves.

But if you want the real deal, I'd say go with a Dainese.

My friend has a few sets of Fieldsheer Kangaroo leather racing suits. They are from the Aprilia race team, They are not a specific model, they are custom made and are a lot better built than the ones they sell. 500 brand new. They fit someone of about 175 and 5'11" to 6'1". Just gotta take off the Aprillia logos and all the other sponsor and AMA racing stuff off if you dont like it.

custom suits really only have an advantage if off the rack stuff doesnt fit you right.

I got my Dainese Laguna Seca suit for $725....

I can match almost any internet deal on current leathers or helmets or other products too for that matter, including that Alpinestar suit. With the perfect fit program you don't need to worry about dealing with questionable Ebay sellers.
