Recommendations on Turbo System

I have been looking at turbo systems for an '07 GSXR 1000 for some time and spoken with various suppliers.

Today, I finally nailed down pricing from Ken for a VR system Stage 1+ system. It is basically a Stage 1 system with upgraded ball-bearing turbo and the system will include an external wastegate.

Does anyone have any experience with these systems, or have recomendations for other systems that they would recommend?

TIA,
Aaron

The Velocity stuff is awesome, I know of a stage 3 system that put down 601, it runs 7,s at 200, on a dot street tire, I would like to do this also, but can get very pricey very quick, I dont wanna look up in a year and have 60K in 1 bike

Yeah, I know the feeling. I have a streetcar like that (runs very, very low 9s at just a tick under 160).

I have a bit of experience with the Forced Induction path, and have really been set on a VR system. Anyone have any experience with Hahn or Mr Turbo on these boards?

Your average Stg 1 turbo from RCC will cost you about $4500. Slap that on a stock busa motor with 6-7lbs of boost and it will make 230-250hp...Any more power then that, it starts getting expensive, the sky is the limit really....I have over $30k in mine not counting what I bought it for.... Its all the "supporting mods" that eat you up...

Yeah plus the $3k+ you have to sink in the motor for rods, pistons, studs, valves, springs, good head gasket etc....

Gen II busas with stock motors don't like boost, Ti valves and single valve springs can't take more then 4-5lbs of boost.
