i'm not talking about the actual hand lever for the brake that sits on the handlebars. i'm talkin about the extended brake arm that mounts on the spindle that come out of the brake drum on the hub. it's about an inch longer than stock and gives alot more leverage. i should have said arm not lever.

i just put one up front and it made a big difference

I wish they sold the handbrake in pieces. I am still trying to figure out a way to really hook the cable to my rear brake rod. I am still wanting to have it done like Josh's phifty. I went and did that setup like on stuntlife. I just am not sure if I want to just run the cable and pinch it between two nuts and expect it to hold and not give me problems later. I also want to see if the brake repair kit they talk about holds up.

Greg, did I hear Juice wanted a HB?

That is so clear I am going to go and do the same on mine. So does that blurry look help lock up the back with the hb?

i have extended brake arms front and rear. They work great . Locks up rear w/out using foot pedal. As far as them stripping out.... tighten em down real good and you shouldnt have that problem. Otherwise there's several ways to rig a handbrake.

ok lets set some things straight, yes ryan DID start this and yeah he is a cool dude, but his 12 bar SUCKS! esp compared to a t-bar (turbo glen) and i have tested both as when i got into 50's 3 years ago i went nuts and bought everything 50 stunt!! and it was way cheaper back then. now the hand brake setup is sweet but not bullet proof at all and i've broke a extended brake arm and it stripped out on the hub over time, steel vs aluminum, steel won.

i say it's someone has made a direct rip off but whatever....i would have bought it if i would have seen it first, but i do like ryan and i do like his cool products, so no it's not FukK RYAN, it's fukk his higher prices.

and yes i am aware he might be out of business in the near future do to the 50 ban.

you are now free to carry on you new school phifty riders. pimp on.

and no ryan did not stand behind his product of the stripped arm, i took pics and email them to him and said i should have taken my hub off and hammered out the little spline...like he even said so in his install instructions
