The Devil's Highway -- Rt 666

I did a searched and got nothing.

Who's been on its supposed awesomenesses? I'm making a route out West for a 10-day motowanderlust. Is it that awesome to make a destination?

The road are located on the eastern border of AZ (you can loop around into NM as well):
AZ CoronadoTrail original

it is 191, after it got renamed for a bunch of deaths and superstition.
i went on this in a toyota, and it was very uninterresting.
and if im not mistaken, this little stretch is through the Navajo Nation, which is somewhere you want to avoid at all costs!
im serious, you stop for gas, and about 30-50 native americans will swarm you in the time it takes to fill your tank, and ask for for change.

DO NOT GIVE THE FIRST ONE A 5 DOLLAR BILL. we did that, and he told the rest of the city, and they all came over to us.

not a pleasant part of the trip.
i would suggest the drive from philmont scout ranch in Cheyenne NM to Angel Falls, NM. great mountain road, and runs along a river.

I dont think she would have that problem... Her bloodline is from that reservation... Hence the screen name Navajib Its reservation slang for navajo.

dont waist your time on triple 6. its long flat desert boringness. if your headed to that part of the country ride 550 north out of durango all the way to ouray. oh but watch your on that one or you will die. not even joking. theres also a sweet little road coming out of silver city new mexico. forget the name but i drove it in the car and counted over 200 turns in like 12 miles. taking the bike out there someday!
