I agree Mike, it didn't seem so bad at the scene. I sure thought he would pull thru and I don't remember hearing my engine on the way home either. Dave took us to a truly beautiful place today and as it's been said, I to will think of Coach Dave when I see bluebonnets.

My heart goes ot to his family.
I have had the pleasure of meeting him a few times at HAK and riding the forest with him once. you could not have meet a nicer person. Just reading about this and i'm tearing up a bit. He will surely be missed

So sad. Coach Dave was full of life. I wish he was here to run out of gas again, so we could run and get him a few gallons while he waited on the side of HWY6.

RIP good buddy. You will be missed dearly. A very very sad day indeed. We lost one of the good guys.
