Wow. I'm just speechless right now. If I wouldn't have had a hard night at work last night I would probably have been on that ride with him. I'm pretty emotional right now.

Well Dave...I did everything I knew to do for ya today...everything I could do to assist the medics once they arrived on scene...and was praying throughout the whole situation...It's sad that you had to leave us...You will truely be missed...The flowers were awesome today and your presence will always come to mind now everytime I see bluebonnets... Bless you brother...and Bless your family and all of your friends...May our Heavenly Father take very good care of you from here on forward...

I am sure there are a lot of us pretty upset and emotional as well right now. He was a great guy, and touched a lot of us here.

I was really sore this morning from the track Saturday and overslept. I am sure if I had made it home in time to see the thread before going to sleep I would have jumped out there as well to ride.

Thanks for everything Dave

OMG.....this really sucks! Thank you for the chance to have the last ride with you today. Although as we all stood by your side I will say I really thought things were going to come out ok. I hate to hear that it didnt. Those flowers you showed us were the most beautiful. I will always look at the bluebonnets and think of you.

RIP Coach Dave! My thoughts go out to your family and friends!!!
