Question Back protector for new jacket

Okay, I am wanting to buy a Shift Racing Women's Envy jacket. It comes witht the CE approved elbow and shoulder armor BUT it doesn't have armor for the spine. It has the pocket for it but no armor. I am trying to find a back protector for it but I can't find Shift racing armor for it. I looked at fs and a*s back protectors but it says it is just for their gear. Help! Does all back protectors work for any gear or just for that brand of gear? Any answers at all are appreciated!
Ashley

Why don't you get something like this?
Knox Aegis 5 & 6 Plate Ladies Back Protector

I would personally think it's better since it would stay in place.
