Rick, I didn't know that was your first off. You were so nonchalant about it, that I assumed you had been down before. Now I know you are just a damned tough guy. How is the foot feeling?

Yeah you were out cold..... for a while

I think what makes the level 1/novice riders crash isn't ego or trying to impress someone, I think it's more of them just getting comfortable and pushing it a little to early.

Still haven't....knocking on wood(although I did run of and tip over in 3ft of mud once but I don't consider that a crash). I've done around 90 td +/-

I was just thinkin about a friend that crashed 2 times in the last 3 TD's, plus I always see people crash out in novice with zero-two trackdays under their belt. Just curious.

Smooth riding is your friend.

crashed on my 5th or 6th in the damp!

I have a friend who's been doing them nearly 10 years, rides expert group and he's never binned it. He's run off loads of times and had some real close shaves but touching wood, none so far.

7 track days no crashes yet, but that's cause im slow.

the way i look at it is, ya i want to progress and get better, but ATM I don't have a track bike and I am not looking to push it farther than I know I can handle. I am out there to have fun, not win races.

*knocks on wood*

Foot is feeling good..... still sore when pressure is put on it, but not nearly as bad as it was feeling at the end of the day.

Yep it was my first time ever being down on a bike. I just knew it was a matter of time before it happened, and kinda glad I got it out of the way.... now just time to learn from the mistake and get faster....
