07 R6 Vs 08 KTM 690 SM

So I am seriously thinking of trading my R6 for a KTM supermoto. Currently my R6 is my Track ho, but if I get the SM it will be my street and track bike. Maybe even doing some off road as well.
Has anyone had a KTM SM and would like to give a few pointers?

well the motards we have are a bit different that the 690 ...

ours are more built for strictly racing while the 690 can be seen as a do both bike

dont get me wrong though i bet that 690 is a hoot on the track ...

so if it was me .. i would keep both

Never owned a KTM, soo can't comment on that.
I will say, my supermoto is more fun than a barrel of drunk monkeys.
That 690 should be a good do it all bike.
Those extra cc's will definetly be welcome on the longer rides and the bigger tracks.
I hate having to keep mine in the upper revs soo long.

my oppinion really shouldn't count since it's coming from someone who cracks a smile riding on anything with 2 wheels...but i think you should borrow someone's tard and see what you think.

or find some cheap/free takeoff tires for my wheels, and mount them on your 250 and see what you think.

So did you convert your 450 and 560 dirt bikes into SM or were they that way from the factory?
