sv650 looks like ducati?

l cf051e9f1c8af2100169ad76214d2e1b
i just got back home from work, and my daughter was waiting for a ride around the complex, so i obliged and some dude yells this chestnut at me after i pass "HEY IS THAT A DUCATI?"
that had to be like the 30th time or so that i have been asked that.
i see no resemblance, but if i were a monster owner i suppose i'd feel a little offended (my bike is mexico'd)

for comparison
a 2000 monster
2006 Ducati Monster 620Darkb

db1ae6c4
more or less how it looks now

the dude just struck me as being an a-hole in the tone of his voice.
