TWS (Texas World Speedway) Turn 1

Not racing

About what speed are you coming down the hill into the turn?

On the Honda I think I was around 135-140 (not true speed, but what speedo read) bone stock suspension

I love turn 1, it gives me an oppourtunity to pass the literbike that flew passed me down the front straight.

Track only bike. Speedo unplugged. It magically flutters betwen 1 and C miles per hour

You really shouldn't be looking at the speedo.

The first time I rode TWS (Texas World Speedway) was this summer, just days after they layed down the sealer in T1. That turn has never felt right to me since then. I'll be working on picking up my corner speed on T1 along with the carousel on Saturday. And any other turns I can improve on as well. . . .

WOT! (wide open throttle) top of 6th gear at redline with stock front sprocket +2 rear.....so i'm guessing about 145-150mph on my gsxr600

on my SV650, same thing WOT at the top of 6th gear all the way to turn 3, with the exception of letting off a slight bit for turn in. i think the highest speed i saw on the sv was about 120-130mph

and yes, to conquer turn 1, takes big . follow somebody experienced through turn 1.....you will find the first few times. trust me, he lives there....cuz i see him every now and then through there.
