HPD at PP1 < important please read>

the other thread went offroading so this is a fresh one stay on track .

i knew one of the cops that was out there. here is the sum of our conversation:
people need to stop doing stupid at pp1 (reving the bikes and stuff) cuz people filed official reports to HPD complaining about the noise and all the stuff that is going on. so when you catch someone doing it bi#ch them out and have them stop; cops are pretty chill right now because they know that most of people there are just hanging out and having a good time but if this keeps up, almost 90% of the bikes out there are missing something worth giving a ticket to or even being towed ( someone got 5 tickets last night in that area); next time they come out they will check every single bike that's there and i if your out there runing a open pipe or no license or insurance get ready to find another ride home.

post this on other forums as well plz and next time you see one doing like that have stop. ( THIS WAS ABOUT PP1 ONLY NOT ASI )

can they give you a ticket if you're just parked there and your bike has an open pipe or something?
i would imagine you would have to be on the road. i would just tell them im getting a buddy to come pick me up with his truck if they ever hassled me like that

You pose an interesting question. It sucks to hear that its coming to this, though, all because of some idiots who probably just got thier bikes and think they'll get laid cuz at least one of thier pipes is noticeable.

I usually don't go out to PP1 meetings pretty much because I know I'll probably get caught up cuz although I have insurance and my bike is 100% tagged/registered/legal, my DL is expired. (It is a CM)

im not 100% sure about that. for evey law there a back door and every back door has a back door of its own, its just something i dont want have to deal with so its better just to avoid it.

Moral of the story, don't be an idiot. Wow you have a motorcycle that revs? Guess what, SO DOES EVERYONE ELSE THERE!!! If you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough.

IMO, pp1 will never change. It will always have squids that rev the out of their bikes and act like fools.

pp1 is a nice place to meet up with friends to go for a ride or head to ASI or something. starbucks and jambo offer good choices to those who may need to grab something to drink.
