almost 4 bills? You could buy a 1 or 2 piece suit for a tiny bit more...

There are actually 2 jackets in my cart ATM just because i am not sure which one i like more. When i pick one i think the total price is around 650. And since i dont want to hit the track just yet. I dont want a full suit, i just wana get my training wheels off. Then i may look at going to the track. But for now i am sticking to parking lots. I am still trying to get gear for my MSF. And i need wheels as well. I had some but the dude sold them before i could get to him. SOOO i am back in the market. I am however looking at the Suzuki GSX 650F. Seems to be a good bike from what i have read.

When I ride(or did ride the streets) I'd wear a full leathers. I didn't a few times and just didn't feel comfy. Jeans are not good for more than 10 feet of concrete sliding...just an fyi.

Why spend 400-650 on a jacket alone when you can purchase a 2 piece for that price?

I'm not bashing just trying to help you make an informed decision.

The jacket i am looking at is an A* the jacket is not 650 alone. I am ordering gloves and boots as well as a pair of paints. The total price is 865.79 as now but like i said that is all my gear. Here is my cart ATM. I am getting a better back protector for the jacket cause the one that comes with it is foam and i did not figure that would do much protection. Just what i think. http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Cart.bok

It is still a little much IMO but like someone else already said it is my life why not protect it? If you know of a better brand that is good and cost less please let me know. Cause if i can save money then YA i will look at switching.

You are on the right track. Money spent on gear is a very good investment. Get the ones you want, its your money. Look into knee protection as well, you can get a decent set for around 30.00

There are many other brands, I'll let others chime in on em.

A* gloves...well they kind of suck...actually they do suck. The finish is horrible and the leather is blah...(edit:they are not as crappy as ICON though)
