No need to safety wire your bike. Just tape your lights and make sure everything is tight and come on out. TWS (Texas World Speedway) is an easy track to learn on and go fast on. MSRH is difficult to learn quickly, and very technical. Both are great tracks though, but offer up totally different types of riding. Do you like to go really fast or do you like the tight, technical stuff?

Congrats! My one and only trackday has been at MSRH and, all things being equal, I really liked the track.

Let me also say that I think most folks do better on their 2nd TD after attendig their 1st on a more technical track. MSRH will instil the need for proper body position, throttle control, braking, and line choice much faster than TWS (Texas World Speedway) will. It's very easy to get lazy and sloppy at TWS (Texas World Speedway).

I like more technical stuff but never been on anything like MSRH...the 3 sisters aint even close to MSRH....I have my 2nd trip to the 3 sisters in early May so I will probably do the MSRH MAY 25.....

Good heads up on the safety wire...I already had the drill out..lol

TWS (Texas World Speedway) may favor your 14 more, but MSRH will teach you more.

The 25th is a great choice however

Yea looking at TWS (Texas World Speedway) I can see how one could open it up on the long somewhat straights, but I like to attempt to get low. And like you said I would like to work on body position, braking and throttle control more that I would hauling ...

also for a newb would u think that my pilot power 2cts are more that enough tire for the track?

Congrats fellow noob trackday winner kawi rider! I just did my free noob trackday with TTD a couple of weekends ago and they bring you along quite quickly. You'll love it. Of course, you know it's just like a crack dealer - they give you the first one for free - then they know you're hooked. (I may see you out there!)

Congrats!

You'll probably be fine at either track. But MSRH, like Godsuki eluded to earlier, won't let you get away with sloppy riding. So it's a good place to learn. Plus, you'll probably feel more comfortable at a track with lower speeds for your first outing. I did.....
