Need an opinion on lid

This is for my cousin, he has chosen down to two helmets.
Arai RX7 Corsair
or
Shoei X-11

Both fits good and flows well. Around the budget he wants to spend. He can only choose one. lol What are your opinions on both of these lids?

They're both great lids. I have the red X-11 Kiyonari Edition and LOVE it!

Suomy Spec1r, Arai rx7, shoei x11, shark rsr2 are all pretty equal, go with fit and style.

They are both equally good helmets. It's going to come down to which one is more comfortable for him.

tell him to ride with each one on and go with the more quiet one because it'll make the difference especially on long rides...ftmfw

I have both an X-11 and RX-7 Corsair. The X-11 fits me a TAD better, and feels a little more solidly put together. I prefer the venting of the RX-7 more, and either it's lighter as well, or carries it's weight lower.

For what it's worth I wear my RX-7 nine times outta ten.

I dont see why there standards are way higher than DOT...Thus maybe making it a safer helmet
