I think it depends on how bad you want to sell it. If you're willing to let it go for that much then ok. If you don't have to sell and don't mind waiting then don't. With the economy down right now, it is a buyers' market right now and not a sellers'.

i would wait...i think you can get more...just not right now....summer is not even here yet....new riders ALL THE TIME......you may find a newb that's willing to dish out a little more for the right bike. But as all the others said, if your situation or needs don't allow you to wait, then take the loss and move on.

I think it is worth more than that.
Wild West Honda in Katy has the 07 New discounted to $9K
Then you need to add Tax.
5K is nothing ot wasn't even broken in until 1K.
The problem is the current market and your desire to jump fast, you called it a "dam thing"
So I guess you don't like it.

So basically your going to dump it and take the loss to get something else.
Well go a head if your that set on a different bike or need the money.

I would bet you could ride it for another year and still get $6.5K next year.
The weather is just begining to change so demand may go up in the next 2 months.

I would hold it another year and check out the 2010 models.
I do not think Kaw, is going to do a major re-do on the bike.

Its a great bike to bad you don't like it

Good Luck

Take it.

If selling it is what you want to do, don't think about the lost you are taking, think about the sell your making and cut her loose...
