Those are great pics. Thanks for sharing those too.

There were a bunch of bikes on that little track. You could pass someone in each turn.

No worries. It was good to meet you.

I'm not sure if I caught you on track? Are you in the above or were you out third?

#1 - Ross.

He's with team Ninja.

They are last year's champions and also the team that set a new lap record for 47.002!

That bike's a beast!

#41 - That's me with the Yamaha Leathers.

We finished 3rd in our class and overall. It helps when your starting pole position ...

Yeah, I did recognise you. I was going to say helllo, but left before you came in. You must have been doing a long first session?

The #1 and the guy he was racing with #74? Both their bikes looked a different class. Yours seemed a touch slow out of the corners.

I'm having alook at Barry Nichols NSR50 at College Station on the 11th, hopefully that will be good for Junior. First geared bike and all that. Any thoughts? Godsuki?

That NSR will be a great bike for your boy. It will teach him tons about bike control and corner speed.

Cool. He seems like a very decent guy. I think he raced it with TM himself a few years back.

It will be a bit of shock for Jnr, but the practice deal/membership looks good at Katy, so we can get him on track often until he gets to grips with it. Plus its only 1/2 hour from home.

Do hate p*ssing about with 2 strokes though. But heh. What you gonna do.

Yea we're a two man team - so hour stints is what we do .

#1 is team Ninja with a KLX 110 with some secret kit in it. They claim it has 24 HP. I won't argue with them, they did break the lap record.

# 84 (not 74) is their last year's championship winning bike. It too is as modded as it can get.

# 41 (us) - my M1, is pretty nicely modded, but not as fast - but I'll be taking it over to the Fiat Yamaha guys before Denton's race .

All 3 of these bikes are in the same class, # 1 is a 4 stroke so it look/sounds different but its in F5, along with #84/41.

Barry is a stand up guy, as I told you before - I'd buy from him any day, and his NSR is two bikes in one, teach your son on it in 50cc class first and then later on put the 60cc kit back on and jump in F6. He'll have a blast.

It didn't hurt to have Damon as your team mate either!

Yep. The man can ride - and has no issues riding longer stints.

Last year I was bummed as I could find people to ride how I wanted to, as in 2 hour stints... I ended up riding by myself in 3 endurance races. They were fun and I podiumed all 3, but the next two days I felt prego!

I don't think I'll have that problem with Damon.
