09 R6, my thoughts.

Brisingr23 (Ty) let me ride his bike through the twisties today and all I can say is "Wow!!!!!" That bike really handles well. I had an almost instant feeling of confidence when I got on it. Makes me want one. I would highly recommend this bike to anyone that's considering one.

If it's similar to 06-07, then hated it.

I like my FZ for the fact that I can ride it all day and not complain. The R6 would not be so practical. But the smooth power from the throttle and shifting are great. And it hits the power band at around 10K and you can feel it kick in. And it's way easy to turn into corners. My FZ sits high and I always have chicken strips on the tires that I can't make go away. On the R6 I was on the edge of the tire with no problem. I felt like I was going to drag a knee in one corner and lifted my knee up so I wouldn't tear up my Icon riding jeans. I give it a 10 on the fun factor.

The new technology on these bikes is amazing. After riding it and rereading the review it was dead on to what they said it would do. It has the "Fly by wire" throttle and the variable intake like the R1's have. It would probably have been even better if I were able to tweak the suspension to my liking.

All things considered, I wouldn't call that a good thing.

My thoughts exactly.
I've ridden both 06 and 09.
Compared to the 06, the 09 has a better mid-range and leans a bit easier into the turn.
I'm only 160 lbs. and I can flick that thing like a bicycle.

I've heard a lot of good things about the Daytonas. I would love to ride one.
