yea I'm 5'8" too and I ride a stock height gsxr, your not actually supposed to be flat foot on a bike anyway, your supposed to be on the of your feet not tippy toe but of your feet, less of course your riding something that goes potato potato or brappity brappity. its your choice if you wanna lower it but its better if ya leave it where its sposed to be

why would you NOT want to be flat foot? seems a bit dangerous to have less control when youre at a dead stop.

I am 5'6" and I raised my rear for some better turn in. You just need to get used to the height issue. All new riders want to change it. Get on a Dirtbike and try to reach the ground. Lol.

I had a 250 and its not like I was pulling up to a stoplight or stopping at stopsigns every time I rode it either.......I took it down 1/2 an inch on both the front and the back and it feels much better Thank you. If I go to the track and end up wanting to raise it back up I will......raising and lowering the rear is actually very very easy I learned.....

Thanks Mudbug for helpin me out, your "lift" was pretty cool and It was nice meeting everyone that was there.....
