16 I think it is, is badass too

I learned something last time I went out there, put your stock exhaust back on.
I was railing through some turns on the hillside and a cop was finishing up a moto-wreck. I saw him a few turns ahead and slowed down and started creepin. I thought I was in the clear but he flagged me down. He could hear me (not see me) speeding through the turns in the distance. Luckily I just got a verbal warning. He asked me if I was in a hurry

Be careful on 16 through Kerr County. Cops in Kerr are vicious!

We do the "Bandera" trip about 3 times a year..
Yes you can drag a knee in places..
Road kill and future road kill are definite obsticles.
Deer are BAD at dawn and dusk.
Harley riders are and get their kicked on a regular basis(nothing worse than weekend Harley riders)
We rarely have a problem with the police.
We usually leave Houston Thurs afternoon and leave Bandera Sunday afternoon..
Good times!!

great road, only did once, got lost, glasses broke... not the best ride. my birthday ride ended up not so cool.... :-( BUT I did get to do part of it. Nice... i think its real tight... just make sure the route you take to get there doesn't have construction, i took a road from 35... don't remeber and had to turn around per miles of gravel road after a while in.

that's really funny. I'll probably get a motard with aftermarket exhaust and end up putting silencers because of that reason....
