I bought an boz bros full exhaust for my zx14 from a guy online. I received in lat jan and i haven't even been able to ride since then...but I was thinking about putting it on.

Problem is I have never worked on a bike before...thought it be a kewl project. Anyone have a links to a post for something like this...or maybe a basic walk through...

Anyone know if I need any seals or anything?

thanks...

I just put m new exhaust on my zx-14 a few weeks ago. I'm in Friendswood. If you need any help holla.

It's pretty easy. I had more trouble getting the plastic off that putting the exhaust on.

Yes, I would suggest new exhaust gaskets. Cheap, I think I paid $12.

i dunno about seals or gaskets, but i pulled the header off my bike & had to remove the radiator to do so...if you wanna get that deep into it, i can lend a hand.

mufflers are a cinch.

Honestly it's super easy and shouldn't take long at all.

I've never worked on a 14, but your probably going to have to remove side fairing and lower. Unbolt old exhaust from header and whatever bolts holding it to the bike. The bolts from the header are a PITA, so be patient. Once old exhaust is on, slide the new system on and make sure it lines up. Bolt it from the header first but support the center of the pipe while doing it. Remember, don't tighten anything down untill everything is bolted on. After everything is on and lined up MAKE SURE the pipe isn't touching your plastics because it will melt it if it's even close (1/2") after everything is ready to be tightened throw some locktite on the header bolts to make sure they don't vibrate off.

I just intalled my full muzzy on my zx-14 about a month ago twice since I had to change the headed gasket after the fact LOL. If it's just slip INS it will take 30 minutes max. If it's the whole system it takes about 3 hrs. It's not hard at all. I will help if u need help bro. Just pm me. If it's a full boz system u should get a power commander cuz u might be running really lean with those shorty pipes.

Be prepared to unbolt the radiator to get to the bolts.

I just swung mine out of the way.
