knox BP

Looking at a back protector to fit in my jacket, knox seems to be a reputable company. Any reports on them?

My jacket has KNOX armour in it, I love it. Lightweight and very protective, I highly recommend the back protector

I've been looking at BP too. Sportbikegear has Knox Bohn AlpineStar and Icon. I haven't decided which brand to get yet. Also under shorts with the padding. Let me know what you decide.

If I had to choose between those, I would choose aplinestars for street and knox for the track.
The knox has more coverage in area's like the kidney's and tailbone.
It's a bit big for everyday use though.
I would'nt trust icon to protect my spine.

I don't like Icon product either. I'm a big Alpinestar fan but just because it A* doesn't mean I'll buy it. Bohn has some good stuff but Knox seems to have alot more options. I ride street for now but will do a track day this year.
My friends call me crash hint the reason why I research gear as much as I can .

I have a space for one in my jacket, but knox doesn't have any slip ins on their website. Motorcycles Unlimited is up here, so I guess Ill head there tomorrow after i go to the shop to get my rear hub looked at.

Just got my new Knox AEGIS BP in the mail today. I have a A* too which I like, but the Knox covers more surface area. .... Think I'm going to like it just fine.

I found the Knox just a bit too bulky for my liking although the coverage was excellent
