Insurance??

I'm currently running only liability coverage on my bike and would like to get full coverage. From what i've heard from some other riders, i probably can get full coverage for just about what i'm paying now. Does anyone have some recomendations on insurance companies to check out?

Dairyland was alright for me. But the other day I went into allstate and was talking to my agent(who handles my Jeep) and after adding onto my already existing policy it was about half the cost! Who do you have your other vehicle(s), house or whatever through? I would give them a shot.

forget progressive...they hate sport bikes, so they jack up the price for coll/comp/liability. I'd expect you'd be paying over 4k for a year on the cbr. Try statefarm, mine is like 600 year on the 14. They rate on cc size not type, so bottom line....the big cruisers get the shaft. ha ha.

state farm

I currently go with Professive. I pay $44.71 a month. Nice. Same with Allstate was going to cost me $60+ and I had been with them over a year. I like progressive's ease of purchase. Would have done state farm but they were a pain, wanted pictures, etc.

I got dropped w/o notice after I filed a claim when my bike was stolen. Also, talk about getting fukked when it came time for them to pay up.

They had a check for me less than a week after a friend looped out my bike. I needed a bike quick for the Lone Star Ralley. They were veeeery understanding and did everything to get me money quickly. It all depends on your agent. I was under the gun to get a bike and even my bank expedited title work to get it done.

be forewarned, State Farm is very stringent w/ who they allow and if you have tickets or accidents recently, they're prolly not gonna accept you.
