Alright, i want to know 2 things:

1) what is it that gets people "caught" at working with stupid and get fired for innapropriate internet stuff... i mean, is it like saved pictures or just visiting the wrong website, how do these dumbasses get caught???

Some companies use auditing software to check up on employees' internet usage. It basically logs the firewall traffic - i.e. every URL you visit. I worked at UPS about 6 years ago - if you even went to 'CNN.com' you'd be getting a phone call within the hour. They were real strict on it. Then some other places I've worked didn't care as long nobody else saw it.

There's also software that takes a screen shot every x minutes and saves it somewhere. They can go back and see what you were looking at.

There was a dude at my last job that would openly look at just about anything. They never said anything to him, but he got to be known as the pornmaster. Not a good reputation.

also i think that what u get from outside e-mails is not the problem but when u send "that" pic or site to a co-worker then THAT is what u get in trouble for.
