opinion on the daytona superbike format

the rules are kind of odd, including what appears to be a spec 180 rear tire, but after watching the first race..........the racing seems to be closer. What do ya'll think?

EDIT: Also, did anyone notice that the yoshi bikes appeared to be '08s not '09s?
A motorcycle is a joy machine. It's a machine of wonders, a metal bird, a motorized prosthetic. It's light and dark and shiny and dirty and warm and cold lapping over each other; it's a conduit of grace, it's a catalyst for bonding the gritty and the holy.

Daytona Sportbike is the catch-all class. Essentially if you build a remotely sporty bike, you can race it in Daytona Sportbike. IMHO the DMG has ruined american rodaracing. I'm not going to watch any of it. There is much better racing to be had at the local CMRA race, and not to mention you can easily go watch that live. Also WSBK and Motogp offer much better raceing to watch on TV. The commentators are better and the whole package is more entertaining.

No Supersport entries and low grid numbers , B.S. Superbike and Daytona Sportbike rules, and no TV coverage. That just plain sucks............
